How to create a camping themed classroom!

I had SO much fun decorating my classroom with a camping theme. I'm a big fan of comfortable reading corners. The more comfortable my students are, the more they read. I found these camping chairs at Walmart for only $5 each. I also set up a small tent in which I placed a cozy rug and some matching throw pillows. In the right corner you can see a rug with some larger pillows. I found the letters "READ"  at hobby lobby and covered them with some camping themed scrapbook paper.

This sign was actually SO easy to make! I bought the cardboard arrow and twine at hobby  lobby. Then I glued wood printed paper to the arrow and cut rectangular pieces to look like wood planks. A large black sharpie and a few gold tacks later, I had this adorable sign!
